Scenes of a Dog Park Under Construction
The dog park is expected to be opened sometime in late May to early June.
Anxious dogs and their owners are already asking about a definite grand opening date for the Conshohocken Dog Park.Â
Some of these comments can be seen on the Conshy Dog Park Facebook page; as well as photos of some bored-looking dogs, at least that’s what their owners posted.
According to the Facebook page, on a post dated March 14, the expected opening date is for late May or early June.

After the perimeter, chain-link fence was put up in February; the next and expected last step is simply to allow the grass to grow and other landscaping, according to a Feb. 22 Patch report. The report also states that the company responsible for constructing the dog park will also build a 100-foot helipad strip of borough-owned property.
The park and helipad are both located on Washington Street, behind the Riverwalk at Millennium Apartment Complex.
