Snapshots of Conshohocken: ‘The Family’

At the corner of Fayette St. and 2^nd Ave. lies a park on a hill. The park, known as Veterans Memorial Park, stretches up along 2^nd Ave., also known as "Veterans Way."

The park was dedicated May 31, 1999 and, according to a plaque at the site, it is dedicated to the men and women of the Conshohocken and West Conshohocken communities who served in the armed forces in time of war, conflict and peace.

The lone statue of the park, called “The Family,” presents a serviceman with his wife and their two children facing Fayette street.
