Stenton Ave To Be Closed For Several Weeks In Whitemarsh

Local motorists should expect increased traffic in the area.

WHITEMARSH, PA — Stenton Avenue will be shut down for several weeks for construction in Whitemarsh Township, PennDOT announced Tuesday

The closure will be in place from Wednesday, Dec. 11 to Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, as work on roadway improvements and drainage construction in completed.

It will shut down the area of Stenton Avenue between Flourtown Road and Joshua Road.

Motorists will be detoured to Flourtown Town Road and Joshua Road.

Additional traffic is expected, and motorists should plan for backups and delays.
