Tractor-Trailer On Fire In Conshohocken

A tractor-trailer caught fire on I-476 in Conshohocken Monday afternoon, backing up traffic in the area, according to officials.

The incident occurred at about 2:23 p.m. in the northbound lanes at the Brook Road underpass, just south of Ridge Pike, according to MontcoPA Active Incidents.

The shoulder has been closed between Exit 16B and Exit 18A, officials said.

Plymouth Fire Company #1 has responded to the scene.

Motorists should consider alternate routes.
