1,700 Powerless In Radnor Township Due To Storm: PECO

The nor'easter that is tearing through the region is causing power outages for hundreds of residents in Radnor Township.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Just over 1,700 people in Radnor Township are without power due to the major nor'easter that is pounding the Philadelphia region with snow, rain, and winds, according to PECO.

As of about 4 p.m. Friday, PECO reports about 1,707 customers in Radnor are powerless.

Delaware County as a whole is dealing with nearly 31,450 customers experiencing power outages.

Wind gusts of up to 60 mph were expected, as well as rain and wet snow, along with flooding risks.

The storm has already caused impacts in the Philadelphia area. SEPTA is reporting several delays. Hundreds of flights out of Philadelphia International Airport are also delayed or canceled. Travelers should check with their carrier before departing to the airport.
