$20K Raised By Wayne Turkey Trot Race

About 160 runners braved the cold on Thanksgiving Day in Wayne for the FS Investments Turkey Trot 5K and raised more than $20,000.

WAYNE, PA – It was a record day this Thanksgiving, as it was one of the coldest on record in quite some time. But that didn't stop more about 160 runners from hitting the road in Wayne for the FS Investments Turkey Trot 5K race.

According to officials, despite the cold, the 160 runners raised more than $20,000 at the 3.1-mile race.

"So many of our FS colleagues live in the Main Line community, which is why we founded the Turkey Trot last year. This year, we wanted to keep the momentum of the Turkey Trot by expanding the impact we can have in our hometown,” said Mike Gerber, Executive Vice President at FS Investments. “Each of these organizations provides tremendous support to this community and in addition to the more than $20,000 raised; our participants are here today to show their gratitude."
