7th Annual Spring Eggstravaganza Set For April 8 At Villanova

VILLANOVA, PA – Radnor Township is inviting residents to join in on egg-hunting fun next Sunday with the 7th Annual Eggstravaganza at Villanova University's campus.

The annual event will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 8 at Villanova University Stadium.

Egg hunts will be divided into age groups, which are babies to 2 year olds, 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 and up. An adult group will also be able to hunt eggs. Kids start at 3 p.m. sharp and adults at 3:30 p.m.

The event will feature more than 40,000 candy and toy stuffed eggs, 7,000 pieces of candy, and a wide variety of prizes for special prize eggs.

Not only will kids and adults be able to hunt for eggs, there will be plenty of other activities and fun things to keep families smiling.

Those include crafts, face painting, bounce houses, prizes, and more. Prizes at the sixth Eggstravaganza included signed Flyers and Eagles memorabilia, gift baskets, bikes, and more. And of course the Easter Bunny will be on hand as well.

Food, beverages, and entertainment will also be available.

The public can park in the Ithan Avenue parking garage while attending the event.

Radnor Township residents only can participate. In the past more than 4,000 people have attended.

In the event of inclement weather, the Eggstravaganza will be held on April 22.
