Annual 4th Of July Parade Returns To Marple Newtown

Don't miss the parade that begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4 in Newtown Township and ends in Marple Township!

MARPLE NEWTOWN, PA – Independence Day is nearly upon us, and the Marple Newtown area is gearing up for its annual 4th of July celebration.

The Marple Newtown 4th of July Parade will be held on Tuesday, July 4.

The parade's march will begin at 10 a.m. at St Alban's Circle in Newtown Township and head to the Broomall firehouse at Malin Road in Marple Township.

Those interested in participating and register by completing this form and mailing it to MN 4th of July Parade, c/0 MN Recreation, 20 Media Line Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073.

You can also register on the day of the parade from 8:30 a.n. to 930 a.m. only.

Those who want to march with bikes, strollers, wagons, and hand-drawn floats can register on Tuesday, July 4 at Saint Anastasia's Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.

All participants must report to St. Alban’s Circle between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. the day of the parade. Participants will be directed to a line up spot. Once in line, check in at the registration desk to pick up participation plaque, parade book, and any last minute instructions.

In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8.
