Best Pick-Your-Own-Christmas Tree Spots In Eastern Pennsylvania
The holidays are here! So where are you and the family going to get your tree? Give one of these pick-your-own spots a try.

'Tis the season to be jolly and to start decorating for Christmas. Some families may use artificial trees to celebrate the holiday, but many families prefer the scent and feel of a real pine tree in their home during Christmastime.
So where are the best places to pick your own tree in Eastern Pennsylvania?
The farms and nurseries below are good spots for a family outing to pick your own trees this season:

Bucks County
Colavita Christmas Tree Farm – 1761 Dolington Rd, Morrisville
This farm is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting Nov. 22. However, the "choose and cut" fields close each night at 4:30 p.m., so visiting on weekends may be better for the busy family. Regardless of tree variety or size, the cost is a flat $60.

McArdle's Holiday Farm – 4316 Mechanicsville Rd, Doylestown
McArdles is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cut-your-own trees range from $50 to $90.
Bryan's Farm – 2032 2nd St Pike, Richboro
The small Richboro farm features choose-and cut-trees on weekends throughout December. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It costs $50 for a choose-and-cut tree.
Chester County
Dan's Tree Farm – 595 Pikeland Ave., Spring City
Dan's is open 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday's hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prices for cut-your-own trees start at $35.
Wiggins Trees – 1257 Westtown Thornton Rd, West Chester and 2176 Gap Newport Pike, Cochranville
Both Wiggins locations are open for choose-and-cut trees from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. The Westtown location costs $50 to cut your own tree and the Cochranville location costs $40 for cut your own trees. Customers are responsible for cutting the tree down and dragging it out of the field (carts are available on a limited basis) and Wiggins will supply saws, hole in the bottom of the tree (if needed), baling and stringing to secure trees on vehicles
Yeager's Tree Farm – 1109 Western Rd, Phoenixville
Yeager's offers cut your own trees and even provide a hay ride to the field if walking in the cold isn't your thing. The farm is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Tree prices vary based on type and size.
Montgomery County
Boswell's Tree Farm – 1093 N Grange Ave, Collegeville and the corner of Mill and Collegeville Roads
Boswell's has been offering cut-you-own tree service for 70 years and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Prices are $7.50 per foot for Douglas Firs, true Firs and Blue Spruces. Norway and White Spruces cost $6.50 per foot.
Heylmun's Pine Hill Farm – 1174 Sheep Hill Rd, Pottstown
Pine Hill Farm is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. It costs just $30 to cut your own tree at this Pottstown farm. However, perfect specimens and trees 7 feet and higher may cost more on an individual basis. Customers are encouraged to come in Monday through Thursday to get an additional $5 discount on trees over $30.
Varner Farms – 797 Bridge Rd, Collegeville
Varner's cut-your-own tree service is available 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The farm provides saws. Douglas and Cannan firs up to 10 feet and Blue Spruce trees up to 7-and-a-half feetcost $10.50 a foot. White pines up to 10 feet cost $7.25 a foot.
Delaware County
Linvilla Orchards – 598 Linvilla Rd, Media
Delaware County's most popular farm is offering cut-you-own tree services Nov. 17 through Dec. 23. Hours for cutting your own tree are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. It costs $69.99 plus tax to choose and cut your own tree.
