Cabrini Hosting Hoops From The Heart Basketball Clinic On MLK Day

Cabrini University is hosting the annual clinic for kids in first through eighth grade on Martin Luther King Day. See details here.

RADNOR, PA — The annual Hoops for the Heart kids basketball clinic is all set to be held at Cabrini University on Martin Luther King Day and sign ups are open.

The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Jan. 21 in Cabrini's Dixon Center Nerney Fieldhouse.

Girls and boys in first through eighth grade can sign up for $30 to learn the game's fundamentals through individual instruction and skill stations from women's and men's basketball players at Cabrini. All registrants are asked to bring one nonperishable food item, as well.

Registration is available on the day of the clinic, early registration is encouraged to be sure space is available for your child.

Players will be grouped according to age and ability.

Attendees will also get a free T-shirt with early registration. Shirts are not guaranteed for those who do not preregister.

Completed forms and payment should be sent to Cabrini University, Attn: Athletic Dept., 610 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087. Checks should be made to Cabrini University.

Proceeds will go to the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, a non-profit that provides services to needy families and individuals in the community.
