Two are stronger than one…

Christ Church, Ithan in Villanova & St. Martin’s Church Radnor to share mission and ministry together.

Christ Church, Ithan was once the chapel for St. Martin’s Church in Radnor… fast forward 100 years and Christ Church, Ithan an established church, is now partnering with St. Martin’s to celebrate their centennial, strengthening a relationship between the two as they create a future together. The two churches have entered into a Covenant relationship and intend to call one priest to serve both churches in early 2020. The centennial will be celebrated November 10, 2019 and will include members of both congregations as well as local community residents who might be curious about the history of these beautiful churches as well as what is envisioned for their current and future development.

Christ Church, Ithan and St. Martin’s have partnered in a number of initiatives in the past several years: The Upper Room, Reading with the Radnor Police, Unity in the Community, Bible study programs and Good Works.

The Centennial Celebration Brunch will take place November 10, 2019 in Ithan Hall at Christ Church, Ithan 536 Conestoga Road, Villanova at 11:30AM following the 10:00AM Service. Bishop Rodney Michel will be the celebrant and preacher at worship. Both rectors of St Martin’s and Christ Church, Ithan will offer prayers.
