Michael P. Jordan, 40, Faces Drug Manufacture Charge In Delco

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Delaware County's Drug Task Force today charged a Philadelphia man with drug manufacture and possession after he allegedly sold drugs to an undercover agent.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Michael P. Jordan, 40, of Philadelphia, is charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance after authorities say he was found in possession of marijuana, Psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, and cartridges of THC concentrates in an exchange for money.

Jordan's charges came after a joint investigation by the Delaware County Drug Task Force and the Radnor Police Department. "This arrest — which was the result of a months-long undercover investigation — is another example of the importance of collaboration between the detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division and local police departments," said Stollsteimer.

A narcotics investigation began March 15 into the possible sale by the defendant of marijuana, THC concentrates, LSD, and Psilocybin mushrooms, the D.A. said.

On March 30, undercover investigators set up a narcotics exchange with Jordan, whom they allege agreed to provide a half-pound of marijuana, a quarter pound of mushrooms, ten THC cartridges and one sheet of LSD in exchange for $2,800.

The transaction was to occur in the rear parking lot of 201 David Drive, Bryn Mawr, the D.A.'s report said.

Jordan allegedly entered the vehicle of an undercover agent and handed over a vacuum-sealed bag containing various narcotics in exchange for $2,800, the report said.

All items seized were transported to the Radnor Police Department. The items were field-tested and determined to be narcotics, the D.A.'s report said.

"I want to commend the members of the Delaware County Drug Task Force, led by CID Sgt. Anthony Ruggeri and Deputy District Attorney Laurie Moore, and Det. Jonathan Jagodinski of the Radnor Police Department, as well as other members of the department, for securing the arrest of this individual," said Stollsteimer.
