Delco's Natasha Cloud Is Converse's 1st Female Athlete

The WBNA star from Delco has made waves on the court with her skills and off the court with her social and racial activism.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A Delaware County native and WBNA star has recently become the first woman to sign a shoe deal with Converse.

Natasha Cloud, who is from Broomall and graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School in 2010, recently signed a deal with the shoe company.

She also played basketball for St. Joseph's from 2012 to 2015.

Cloud, who has been the Washington Mystics's guard since 2015, not only shines on the court, but also in the social and racial justice world.

She recently penned a piece for The Player's Tribune titled "Your Silence Is a Knee on My Neck," in which she discussed race, policing, and more.

Cloud was also in Philadelphia for recent protests over George Floyd's death.
