Free Shade Trees Available For Radnor Residents

Supplies are limited, so sign up now to get a free tree for your property courtesy of the Radnor Conservancy.

Radnor residents can now enter to win a free shade tree courtesy of the Radnor Conservancy, so if you want to take a chance for a free tree now is the time.

150 shade trees will be given away and you can register now, as spring is about to... spring.

The conservancy will show residents how to plant trees and how to care for them on tree pick up days. Tree pick up is available from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday April 29 and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday April 30 at the Radnor Township Building, 301 Iven Ave. Wayne.

There is a limit of two trees per household and available species are Maple and Oak.

Trees are available first come, first served.

When you go to pick up a tree, it will be in either a 3- or 5-gallon container and will be 4 to 5 feet tall.
