Gas Main Service Work To Begin On Marlbridge Road In Radnor Twp.
Residents along Marlbridge and Wyldhaven roads may see short gas service shut downs.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy announced today it is replacing existing natural gas equipment in Radnor Township. Workers will install a new underground pipe in an area from Marlbridge Road to Wyldhaven Road. Construction begins on July 27 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
PECO said the project work may involve roadways, sidewalks and some private property in the construction area. The company, part of Exelon Corporation, said it anticipates the natural gas main and service line installation will take six weeks.
Properties affected in Radnor Township may have temporary shut-offs of their natural gas service for periods of several hours, according to a PECO media release.

Miller Bros. of Conshohocken is the contractor for the installation. After completing the natural gas main installation, workers will begin upgrading services outside homes in the area of Marlbridge and Wyldhaven roads.
PECO said at this time, only outside work to upgrade service lines will be done. When access to gas appliances inside a home is needed, PECO will contact residents directly to schedule that work.
