Main Line Restaurant Week: What You Need To Know
More than 35 local eateries are participating in Main Line Restaurant week, offering prix-fixe menus, specials, or discounted prices.
VILLANOVA, PA — The second annual Main Lin Restaurant Week will showcase food and drink from more than 35 local eateries from Sept. 16 through Sept. 22.
Villanova University has partnered with the Bryn Mawr Business Association, the Wayne
Business Association, and Main Line Today magazine to put on the second annual event.
With more than 50 participating restaurants, the inaugural "Villanova Dines Out! Restaurant Week" in November 2018 generated excitement amongst the University and area communities for the many great local dining options—creating an opportunity to expand upon the event in 2019.

Restaurants will offer a prix-fixe menu, specials or a percentage discount to any patron who dines out throughout the week.
Many of restaurants will also carry beers from Cape May Brewing Company and Evil Genius Brewing Company, as they are owned by Villanova alumni, in addition to La Cabra and Tiz Lizard, which are also owned by Villanova alums.
"We are looking forward to building on last year’s success and continuing to showcase all of the great restaurants we have right here in our backyards," said Laura Wagoner, Assistant Director of Government & Community Relations at Villanova. "The partnership with these organizations shows how strong the Main Line community is through their overwhelming support for these local businesses."
"We are also very excited that this year Restaurant Week will coincide with the St. Thomas of Villanova Celebration and Day of Service," continued Wagoner. "It will be a great opportunity for the thousands of Villanovans that are taking time out to give back to the community to also come out and support our local businesses."
