Meet Radnor School District's Newest Teachers
The Radnor Township School District recently welcomed a dozen new teachers, ahead of the first day of classes on Sept. 8.

The Radnor Township School District recently welcomed a dozen new teachers, ahead of the first day of classes on Sept. 8.
Here’s a list of the new faces throughout the township’s schools. Short bios of each of the new educators are available at the district website.
Radnor High School
Alicia Craft will teach physics at RHS.

Nicole Curry joins RTSD as the new Latin teacher at RHS.
Aaron Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard College and a master’s in secondary school English from the University of Pennsylvania. He joins the RHS English department from The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr where he taught 7th- and 8th-grade English since 2013.

Meghan Yates joins the RHS English department from Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School’s University Scholars Program, where she served as an English teacher since 2006.
Radnor Middle School
Susan Barnes is the newest member of the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) team at RMS.
Franco Fiorini is returning to RMS as a teacher of gifted learners after serving as a long term substitute in the position since January 2015.
Jeffrey McQuaid is the new 7th-grade social studies teacher at RMS.
Jessica Muñoz is the newest member of the RMS World Language department.
Radnor Elementary School
Meghan Tomescu is the new teacher of Engligh Language Learners (ELL) at RES.
Wayne Elementary School
Tara Fields is returning to WES as its general music teacher after serving as a long-term substitute in the position since January 2015.
District-Wide
Salvatore Scinto is RTSD’s new elementary instrumental music teacher.
Janis Rindone brings more than 15 years of teaching experience to her new role as the district’s elementary humanities coach.

· Parent-teacher conferences – Nov. 23-25
· Early dismissal: Nov. 23-24
· Thanksgiving Break – Nov. 25-27
· Keystone Testing window – Dec. 2-16
· Winter Break – Dec. 24 through Jan. 1 (District offices open Dec. 28, 29)
· Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday – Jan. 18
· No school, offices open – Feb. 12
· Presidents’ Day Holiday – Feb. 15
· No school K-5; parent-teacher conferences – March 10-11
· Spring Break – March 21-25 (District offices open March 21-24)
· Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) standardized test window –April 11-29, May 16-27
· No school, offices open – April 25
· Memorial Day Holiday – May 30
· Last day of school (early dismissal) – June 17
