PA Turnpike To Add Car Charging Stations
Locations along the Pennsylvania Turnpike will offer spots to 'plug in.'

This summer, drivers along the Pennsylvania Turnpike will find at least four rest stops to be "electrifying." The Turnpike Commission announced recently that four new charging stations will be installed this summer for electric cars.
One of those new charging station scheduled to be added along the Pennsylvania Turnpike is at the King of Prussia rest stop gas station, according to the Lancaster New Era. The additions are a part of a $2.5 million project by the commission.
Renee Vid Colborn, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, told the Era that a "fill-up" will cost "anywhere between $2 and $5, depending on the charging station we put in and the utilities."Â
