Philadelphia Woman Wanted In Identity Theft Case: Radnor Police

Radnor Twp. Police said Tracy Murphy created a fake driver's license with another name but her own photo to buy a motorbike.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia woman is wanted in connection with a forgery and identity theft on the Main Line, Radnor Township Police said.

According to police, Tracy Murphy, 50, of Philadelphia, used a resident's identity to buy a motorbike.

Police said Murphy even created a fake driver's license of the identity theft victim with Murphy's own photo on it.

Radnor Twp. Police Det. T.J. Schreiber was able to identify Murphy as the suspect by using facial recognition software and the victim's driver's license.

Murphy is also facing identity theft, receiving stolen property, and related charges out of Montgomery County, court records show.

Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Murphy's arrest and conviction.
