Police Arrest Man Accused of Groping Two Women in Delco

Officials say the defendant assaulted women in Radnor and Media and are looking for more possible victims.

Radnor and Media police say they have caught a suspect accused of groping two women in as many days, CBS Philly reports.

Paul Curtis, 27, of Media, faces multiple charges including simple and aggravated assault, harassment, making terroristic threats and public drunkenness. Court records show he has been confined to Delaware County prison, unable to post 10 percent bond on $50,000 bail.

According to Radnor police, Curtis allegedly assaulted a jogger on the Radnor Trail at Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue Tuesday morning.

The victim told police that she was approached by the suspect at the two-mile marker at approximately 8:30 a.m.

He asked if she wanted a running partner, and she declined the offer and continued running. According to police, Curtis followed her, made a comment about her body and slapped her on the buttocks.

Media police told 6ABC News that a similar incident happened at Orange and Pearl streets. The victim notified officers immediately, and they placed Curtis into custody 15 minutes later, the report says.

Officials urge any other potential victims to contact local police departments.
