Radnor Boys, Girls Ultimate Frisbee Teams Crowned State Champs
For the first time ever, Radnor's girls and boys ultimate frisbee teams each brought home state championships. Congratulations to all!
RADNOR, PA – The boys and girls Ultimate Frisbee teams at Radnor High School went to Pittsburgh over Memorial Day weekend and came home with two 2018 Pennsylvania High School State Championship titles.
The Radnor Township School District said its boys and girls teams won their respective state championships, making it the first-ever double championship win for the ultimate frisbee teams.
Seeded No. 7 in the tournament, the boys team defeated No. 1 seed Pennsbury in the quarterfinals, then No. 5 Haverford in the semifinals, and lastly No. 2 North Allegheny in the championships.

As for the ladies, they went in with a No. 3 seed and defeated No. 1 seed Lower Merion to win their second state championship in the program's history.
The district said the girls team is ranked No. 23 in the nation by Ultiworld.com.

The members of the Radnor High School boys ultimate frisbee team are: Justin Calica, Neal Chan,Will Dawson, Will Dickson, Shane Donaher, Andrew Doughan, AJ Engelhard, Etienne Falquet,Sylvain Falquet, Jonah Farber, Charlie Frick, Niles Huang, Henry Ing, Marshal Lian, Ryan Low, ScottMassey, Jack Masterson, Adrienne Philardeau-Planche, Sam Schulz, Alex Storrer, Aaron Tachau andPatrick Walker. The team is coached by Mark "Nacho" Carnacchio.
The members of the Radnor High School girls ultimate frisbee team are: Anya Chan, Lisha Chen,Maya D'Mello, Layne Dodge, Sheldon Ennis, Claire Fukuchi, Jillian Gorman, Baylee Huang,Stephanie Huang, Tess Killian, Milena Korzekwa, Amanda Magen, Lacey Robinson, Lauren Shin andCarina Vale. The team is coached by Amanda Cornfeld and Michael Gentil.
The Radnor Ultimate Frisbee (RUF) Club was founded in fall 2006 by Brett Schlesinger, RHS class of 2009, and his mother Dr. Susan Schlesinger. The Club is currently run by parents, coaches and players, and headed by a parent board.
