Radnor Conservancy Looking For Summer Interns

WAYNE, PA – Do you have a child who loves the outdoors? Maybe you know a neighbor who is a budding environmental steward? Either way, the Radnor Conservancy is looking for motivated people with a passion for the environment to be summer interns with the group.
"This is a perfect time to reflect on our beautiful community and also raise awareness for our next generation of environmentally conscious citizens," the conservancy said in its call out to the public. "We plan to make a deeper connection to local school groups and interact with a broad multi generational audience and continue to partner with other organizations to reach this goal."
Interns have opportunities to work with the conservancy's various initiative, including conservation trail work, volunteer projects and environmentally based educational programming, social media outreach, and website or database maintenance.

Not only will interns get experience working in various aspect of the organization, they will also get mentoring and coaching for resume writing.
Interns would work about 10 hours a week on a flexible schedule.

The environmental group said it is looking for people with a wide range of strengths and interests.
Interested parties should send a curriculum vitae, a letter of interest, and two references to Radnor Conservancy Executive Director Gretchen Groebel at ggroebel@radnorconservancy.org.
