Radnor Day Camp Closed Friday Due To Heat
The Radnor Township School District will be turning off its air conditioning, which means the camp cannot operate safely Friday.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — With excessive heat plaguing the Philadelphia region, Radnor officials have closed Radnor Day Camp for Friday, July 19.
According to Radnor officials, excessive heat is considered a "Demand Response Event" and the Radnor Township School District will turn off its air conditioning systems, along with non-essential electrical equipment at the camp site, Radnor Elementary School.

With that in mind, officials said they cannot operate the camp safely for campers, staff, and families.
