Radnor High Bringing 'High School Musical' To Virtual Stage

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A cast and crew of more than 60 Radnor High School students will bring the Disney Channel smash hit High School Musical to the virtual stage

The pre-recorded show will stream live via YouTube Premiere on Thursday, May 27 through Tuesday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 29 at 2 p.m.

Based on the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name, Disney's "High School Musical" follows Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High. They deal with issues of first love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities.

Sunny Taghavi will star as Troy Bolton, Anjali Engstrom as Gabriella Montez, Lanie Walsh as Sharpay Evans, Jason Tey as Ryan Evans, Sam Roche as Kelsi Nielsen, Peter Vitale as Chad Danforth, Max Curello as Zeke Baylor, Sophia Twohig as Taylor McKessie, Cassidy Else as Ms. Darbus, Austin Johnson as Coach Bolton, and Leah Monty as Martha Cox.

Disney's High School Musical is fun for the whole family. The one-act show features more than a dozen musical numbers, including favorites “Start of Something New," "Get'cha Head in the Game," "Stick to the Status Quo," and "We're All in this Together."

All are invited to enjoy the show from the safety of their own homes. Tickets are available for $15 and can be purchased through www.radnorhsmusical.org. Tickets will be sent via email with a unique link to view the show.

Radnor High School’s High School Musical production and musical direction are by Dr. Bruce Glenny. Artistic and stage direction is by Ryan Goulden. Technical direction is by Brian Dietzler and choreography is by Susan Guyer.
