Owner Kristy Cole put so many refreshing creams and masks on our skin during an hour-long rosacea/sensitive facial that we lost track of which one was papaya and which one was rose. But our skin looked so pore-less, we can’t wait to go back. 101 North Wayne Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087
Also in the Health and Self section, Villanova's Bulldog Yoga was named "Best Yoga for People Who Hate Yoga."
See what they said about the business:
Fast-paced, sweaty hot yoga done to pounding hip-hop — it’s the antithesis of the Zen snoozefests you’re used to. 775 Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA 19085.
Wayne's Blue Beret was named the "Best New Children's Boutique" in the Kids and Teens category.
Like walking into the pages of a Madeline, Paddington Bear or Winnie the Pooh book — or any other tome that’s European and ultra-sweet. What started as an online shop last spring is now a pop-up shop (open until January at least …) that’s shared with other local makers and artists. 122 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087
Four were named winners in the Shopping and Style category.
Spogue Kitchens & Bath was named "Best Secret Art Gallery."
See the blurb about the gallery:
Yes, it’ll be hard to walk past the marble countertops and custom Shaker cabinets, but keep your eye on the real prize: the collection of 20th-century drawings and paintings procured directly from renowned art markets in France and waiting for your walls. 302 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087
The Velvet Shoestring earned the "Best Suburban Furniture Shop" award.
Stunning pieces — cheetah-print ottomans made for tucking under a console table; a mid-century end table; stately leather armchairs — that are all cast-offs from Main Line neighbors populate this eclectic shop. 155 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087
And Jane Winchester Paradis of Jane Winchester Jewelry won the "Best Lilly Pulitzer Alum of the Year" award.
Oversize coin pendants emblazoned with symbols and words (and, soon, zodiac signs) without any cheesy trappings are what make this Wayne designer’s necklaces smart. What makes them brilliant? How they only get cooler when layered.
Villanova's The Motherchic was named the "Best Style Instagrammer."
Villanova’s Lindsey Schuster has turned raising four little boys into a modish enterprise by giving her nearly 100K Instagram followers affordable ideas for looking cool while mom-ing out — and making them easy to buy.
Lastly, Aux Petites Delices won "Best Desserts" in the Food and Drink category.
Napoleons filled with kirsch mousseline, boxes of pear bonbons, almond croissants, plus that namesake “Delices” pastry with chocolate mousse and hazelnut crunch: It’s no wonder you’ve smudged the bakery case with your noseprints. 162 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087
