The three clinics will teach beginners and intermediate skaters balance, turning, ollies, and more. See details on the spring clinics here.

WAYNE, PA — With weather getting nicer, many of us are itching to get out for walks, bike rides, and even skateboarding. And Radnor Township's Recreation and Community Programming Department wants to help young skaters learn the ins and outs of all things skateboarding ahead of summer.

The township is hosting skateboard clinics over three sessions in April and May at the Radnor Skate Park.

Clinics are being held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. April 18, April 25, and May 2, all of which are Saturdays. There is a rain date of May 16.

Local skater Carl Cortez will lead the clinics, which are designed for beginner and intermediate skaters who are 6 to 16 years old.

Beginners will develop stance, turning and pushing, while building healthy confidence on their boards, while intermediate skaters will develop ollies, flip tricks, and more.
