Radnor Nonagenarian Dies at 94

Helen A. Porter, formerly of Villanova, passed away on Oct. 11, 2016 at her residence in Radnor. She was 94.

Daughter of the late Francis and Rachel Foley Anderson, she was born in St. Paul, Minn. on Nov. 29, 1921.

She was the beloved wife of the late Guy R. Porter, Jr. Devoted mother of Frank A. (Jescey French), Anne F., Andrew R. (Nan), Beth F., Claire H., Patricia A. and Sheila P. Brannau (the late Matthew). Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 14, 10 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, 1229 E. Lancaster Ave., Rosemont. Relatives and friends may visit at the Chapel after 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, 480 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
