Radnor Police Offer Safety, Parking Info For Wayne Music Festival

The festival will be held from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and police want to ensure all festival attendees are safe during the annual event.

WAYNE, PA — The annual Wayne Music Festival is all set for Saturday, June 8 with more than a dozen acts taking the three stages. While the event will fun for all, Radnor Police want to ensure festival goers' safety.

Police issued some tips and notifications regarding safety, parking, and road closures for the event.

  • All vehicles must be off West and North Wayne avenues by 2 a.m. Saturday
  • North Wayne and West avenues will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday until the early hours of Sunday, June 9
  • The festival will host fireworks beginning at 10:30 p.m. Pet owners in the area may want to plan ahead in case your pets become frightened
  • Out-of-town guests are urged to use Septa's R5 or ride sharing applications such as Lyft and Uber. The Wayne Station drops you feet from all three stages.
  • Parking will be limited, but free in municipal lots and nearby metered spaces
  • Be responsible with your alcohol consumption and those around you
  • See something? Say something! RPD will be on location at the event or by calling 9-1-1

From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m North Wayne and West avenues in downtown Wayne will host three stages that will feature local and national acts, spanning all kinds of genres.

In addition to music, the event will feature 75 local restaurants and vendors, beer gardens, fireworks.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own waterbottles, chairs, blankets, etc.

Before the festival kicks off Saturday, June 8, a launch party will be held at 118 North the night before.

The festival will raise money for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
