Radnor Pope Notes: State of Emergency, Closed Facilities and Roads and More
Everything you need to know about plans for the Papal visit in Radnor Township

With the visit of Pope Francis to Philadelphia only days away, Radnor Township is telling residents what they need to know to be prepared for disruptions to the area:
- The Township called a State of Emergency for Sept. 24-27, and the National Guard will be on hand to assist officials.
- Radnor schools will close early on Friday, Sept. 25, with Radnor High School closing at 11 a.m.; Radnor Middle School at 11:30 a.m. and Ithan, Radnor and Wayne elementary schools closing at noon. Also, all schools and district buildings will open on a two-hour delay on Sept. 28.

- All field and facility uses from Friday night through Sunday will not be permitted.
- In addition to major highways closed throughout the region, including portions of I-76, King Of Prussia Road will be closed at the SEPTA Train Station overpass on Saturday and Sunday. Aldwyn Lane is closed except for resident traffic and local deliveries.
