Radnor Township To Close Fields, Facilities on Pope Weekend

Radnor Township announced Tuesday that “ all field and facility usages” the weekend of Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia will not be permitted.

The prohibition, in effect from Friday, Sept. 25 to Sunday, Sept. 27, will affect athletic facilities, government buildings and more.

“As we learn more information regarding the specific details of the impact we will experience, we continue to evaluate all field and facility access for the week leading up to the Papal visit,” the Township said on its website.
