Radnor Township School District Rated Best In Delco

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Radnor Township School District topped the ratings among Delaware County districts, as determined by Niche, a data compiling firm.

Data compiler Niche today released its ranking for the best Pennsylvania school districts for the 2020-2021 school year.

In Delaware County, the top ranked district is Radnor Township, followed by Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche issued a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Niche used data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. The methodology used by Niche is explained here.

Six Delaware County districts earned overall grades of A+. One earned an A grade, three got Bs, one got a B-, one got a C, one earned a C-, one earned a D+, and one got a D.
Radnor Township School District, which was ranked the best in Delaware County, earned the No. 1 spot among all Pennsylvania school districts.

Niche gave Radnor an A+ in all categories except for diversity, for which it received a B.
