Radnor Youth Wrestling Clinic To Teach Skills, Sportsmanship, Fun

The clinic is open to both Radnor Township residents and non residents who are in kindergarten through fifth grade.

WAYNE, PA – Attention budding wrestlers: The Radnor Township Youth Wrestling Clinic is all set to teach youths wrestling skills from Jan. 12 to March 16 and sign ups are open now.

The clinic is an introductory program designed to teach kids in Kindergarten through fifth grade the basics skills of wrestling, with emphasis is on wrestling moves, conditioning, sportsmanship, and fun.

There are no formal matches with other clubs.

Participants should wear a tight shirt and sweat pants to the first practice

Wrestling shoes are required and are not included in the program registration.

The program runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays from Jan. 12 to March 16. Classes will not be held on Jan. 26 or Feb. 16.

Registration costs $60 for Radnor Township residents and $90 for non residents. Register online here.

The program is held in the Radnor High School wrestling room. Participants should enter by the swimming pool.

Arrangements have been made with Wayne Sporting Goods, located at 124 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne for Radnor Youth Wrestling Clinic participants to purchase shoes with a 20 percent discount. To get the discount, present a copy of your registration confirmation email at check out.
