Recycle Electronics, Shred Documents In Radnor Oct 20

You can delcutter your home this fall by recycling electronics and shred old documents at the Radnor Township Building in October.

WAYNE, PA – Radnor residents have a chance to declutter in October, as the township is hosting an "Anything With a Plug" recycling and paper shredding event on Oct. 20.

The township will host the event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Radnor Township building, 301 Iven Avenue in Wayne.

Only Radnor Township residents and township businesses with 50 employees or fewer can use the free service.

Accepted electronics are:

  • laptops
  • typewriters
  • telephones/cell phones
  • cameras
  • calculators
  • peripherals
  • mice
  • small appliances
  • fax machines
  • keyboards
  • printers
  • computers
  • dehumidifiers
  • air conditioners
  • TVs

Smoke detectors, large appliances, and projection TVs will not be accepted.

As for paper shredding, all paper must be removed from binders. Hardcover books and binders will not be accepted.
