Robber Hits Main Line Bank Tuesday: Police

Police said the seen here man came into the bank at about 4:30 Tuesday and made off with money after giving the teller a demand note.

MAIN LINE, PA — A Main Line bank was robbed late Tuesday afternoon and police are asking for help identifying the suspect.

Lower Merion Township Police said the robbery occurred at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday at the PNC bank at 954 Youngsford Road in the Gladwyne section of the township.

A man came into the bank and gave a demand note to the teller.

After getting money from the teller, the man left the bank.

Police described him as a white man, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build.
