See Delco's Coronavirus Figures As 'Green' Phase Begins

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County is officially in the "green" phase of Gov. Tom Wolf's plan to reopen the state's economy.

So while businesses across the area are opening back up, what are the latest coronavirus figures in the county?

As of Friday, Delaware County is reporting 7,165 cases, 696 deaths, and 34,500 negative test results. Overall, the county has an 82.09 percent recovery rate, according to Friday's data.

Of the 7,165 cases, 2,386 are nursing home or long-term care facility residents. Additionally, nursing home and long-term care facility residents account for 558 of the county's 696 deaths.

Upper Darby has the highest case concentration of all municipalities with 1,172 cases. Middletown has the most deaths of all municipalities with 146. Yeadon has the highest percentage cases among all municipalities, with 3.69 percent of its 11,471 population seeing cases.
