South Wayne PorchFest Canceled Due To Coronavirus
While this year's musical event has been canceled due to the pandemic, organizers plan to host the event in September 2021.
WAYNE, PA — The annual event in which Wayne residents lend their porches and yards to musicians for open air music has been canceled.
According to organizers, the 2020 iteration of South Wayne PorchFest has been canceled.
"The health and safety of our community and musicians are primary," organizers said. "We must take a realistic view of a number of factors regarding Covid-19, South Wayne PorchFest’s date in September, the large number of attendees and musicians, the generosity and co-operation of our neighborhood, the continued presence of the infection, and the concerns regarding an even stronger recurrence in the fall."
