South Wayne PorchFest: What You Need To Know

More than 50 artists will be playing eclectic tunes on porches in South Wayne, all free of charge, from noon to 5 p.m Saturday.

WAYNE, PA – From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, the air in South Wayne will be filled with the sounds of music, as South Wayne PorchFest is bringing more than 50 artists to residential porches for the second annual installment of the musical event.

Twenty-five porches on Windermere Avenue, St. Davids Road, and Midland Avenue will host the artists during the free event. These streets will be closed to vehicle traffic.

Attendees can bring blankets, chairs, strollers, wagons and more to enjoy the music while making rounds to the host porches.

Each performance will last 45 minutes to an hour.

  • Septa parking lots at Wayne and St. Davids stations
  • Waynewood and Louella avenues on the north side of Lancaster Avenue
  • South Wayne Avenue lot and street parking
  • West Wayne Avenue street parking
  • South Bellevue Avenue lot just west of Anthony Wayne Cinema

Kiosk parking is enforced until 6 p.m. the day of PorchFest.

Restrooms will be open to PorchFest attendees at St. Katharine’s School, 116 S Aberdeen Ave.
