PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region

PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule for Radnor Township is as follows:

  • Sunday, March 28, through Friday, April 2, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Hamilton Road and Chandler Lane in Radnor Township.

To help make decisions regarding winter travel, motorists are encouraged to "Know Before You Go" by checking conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. Users can also see plow truck statuses and travel alerts along a specific route using the "Check My Route" tool.
