REFUSE/RECYCLE/YARD/ BULK/HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

  • Monday – District 1 Refuse
  • Tuesday – District 2 Refuse
  • Wednesday – District 1 Yard Waste and Bulk Pickup
  • Thursday – District 1 Recycling
  • Friday –District 2 Recycling

UTILITIES:

  • Gas Main work on Boxwood Rd and Barclay Rd. will continue through Q1 2021.
  • February 10, 20201: Gas main work on Lenoir Ave. and Bloomingdale Rd. will continue until June 2021.
  • March 8, 2021: Aqua will begin a 3-month water main replacement project on Barclay Rd. (weather dependent). They will be replacing 3156 Feet of pipe.
  • March 15, 2021: Aqua will begin a 1-month water main replacement project on Gallagher Rd (weather dependent). They will be replacing 1200 Ft. of pipe.
  • March 23, 2021: Aqua will begin a 4-month water main replacement work on Wyldhaven Rd. from Yorkshire Rd. to Ithan Ave., Marlbridge Rd., Brandymede Rd., and Hollybush Rd.
  • Following is the current schedule for Miller Bros. crews in Radnor for 2021, pending weather / unforeseen circumstances:

2021 Scope

  • Darby Paoli Road is closed to traffic for PENNDOT bridge work at the Willows Park entrance.

Park & Recreation Facilities:

  • Current Status Amidst Covid-19 - All Parks & Trails and corresponding amenities are OPEN for usage including permitted usage in accordance with state and federal guidelines (water fountains remain closed) – please pay close attention to the signage that has been posted regarding safe practices for usage and mask wearing.
  • Radnor Activity Centeris open with Department programming and several ongoing rentals.
    1. The Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 4th
    2. American Red Cross Battle of the Badges is being planned for Monday, June 7th
  • Important Notice/Bo Connor Park & Odorisio Park Playgrounds – two slides are closed at Bo Connor Park and one slide is closed at Odorisio Park – please obey the caution tape and signage; Odorisio Park main parking lot closed due to construction staging, residents are asked to use the other park parking lots off West Wayne Avenue and Fairview Drive.
