Try Radnor's Mother Son Superhero Challenge Jan 20

Radnor Township moms and theirs sons can train to be superheroes at the Superhero Challenge on Jan. 20 in Wayne. Costumes are encouraged!

WAYNE, PA – Radnor mothers and sons are invited to channel their inner superheroes at an upcoming superhero training event in Radnor Township.

The Radnor Township Recreation & Community Programming Department is hosting the Mother Son Superhero Challenge in January where moms and their sons can try their hand at being superheroes. Grandmothers and grandsons are invited as well.

From 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, the Radnor Activity Center will be full of moms and sons training to be superheroes.

The day will feature various training stations, including obstacle courses, crafts, and a giant Nerf battle royale. There will be food, drinks, photos, and more surprises for attendees.

A final awards ceremony will end the day after attendees complete your training to officially name participants superheroes.

The challenge is open to Radnor Township residents only and cost $65 per pair and $25 for additional children or parents. The cost includes a free photo for participants.

Attendees should wear comfortable exercise attire with sneakers is required for this event (superhero costumes are encouraged) as it will entail a lot of physical activity.

Participants will be broken out into age groups, which are

  • 5 to 6 years old
  • 7 to 8 years old
  • 9 to 11 years old

Registration opens at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28.
