Villanova U Has Zero Positive COVID Tests On Wednesday

Testing continues at VU, and of 60 who've tested positive since Aug. 17, 53 are considered recovered from COVID-19.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Villanova University reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours, as of Wednesday at midnight.

The university's COVID-19 Dashboard page says there are presently an estimated 16 active cases, and 53 estimated recovered cases. Out of 1,583 tests administered since Aug. 17, there have been 69 positive cases among students and staff.

Campus quarantine capacity remains at about 10 percent usage.

Of 195 people tested on Sept. 14, the more recent date for which positive test numbers are given, five tests were positive. On Sept. 16, 122 were tested and there were no positive tests reported. Positive test results are attributed to data for the day the test was given, not the day results were received.
