Wayne American Legion Hosting Flag Day Ceremony Thursday
On June 14, 1777, the United States adopted the American flag. And on June 14, 2018, American Legion Post 668 will pay tribute to Old Glory.

WAYNE, PA – On June 14, 1777, the United States officially adopted a flag, and more than 240 years later local the American Legion Post is paying tribute to Old Glory on Flag Day.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, the Bateman Gallagher American Legion Post 668 will host a Flag Day ceremony at its post.
The event will not only pay tribute to the flag, but also include the burning of damaged flags.

Then at 6 p.m. Thursday, the post will feature a benefit barbecue and raffle event that will support the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 688.
Attendees can enter a raffle to win Father's Day packages from Omaha Steaks of a $250 Omaha Steaks gift card.

You can get raffle tickets for $1 a piece or 15 for $10 online here.
Proceeds will go toward the SAL 668’s conurbation to the Post Service Flag Poles.
The Bateman Gallagher American Legion Post 668 is located at 401 E. Lancaster Ave. in Wayne.
