Wayne Eatery Giving Free Meals To First Responders

WAYNE, PA — A Wayne eatery and local lacrosse club are partnering to provide meals for first responders in the area as they work on the front lines of the coronavirus fight.

333 Belrose Bar and Grill in Wayne and Mesa Lacrosse have launched their "Feed the First Responders" campaign to provide take out meals for Philadelphia-area responders.

First responders can get take-out meals from the restaurants from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays while supplies last.

Responders getting meals will receive a $50 gift card that can be applied to that order or used at a later date.

First responders can get their meals by ordering over the phone and mentioning their first responder status, as well as the Mesa Lacrosse fundraiser.

When picking up meals, first responders will have to show their first responder identification to make sure meals are going to the right people.

Members of the public can support the effort by donating to the campaign. Donations can be made by sending money to Mesa Lacrosse via Venmo. Mesa Lacrosse is available @MesaLacrosse on Venmo.

As of Tuesday morning, $4,237 has been donated by numerous groups and individuals in the area.
