Wiffle Ball Tourney In Radnor To Benefit Delco Special Olympics
Radnor Townships's Night at the Ball Park & Wiffle Ball Classic is a month away, with time to register and help support Special Olympics.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Township's Wiffle Ball Classic is coming in July to benefit Special Olympics of Delaware County.
The township's 9th Annual Night at the Ball Park & Wiffle Ball Classic Event is Wednesday, July 21. The wiffle ball tournament is for all ages, so participants can sign up to play as a team or individually.
The tournament happens at Encke Park,, 305 Iven Avenue, Wayne. Games begin at 4:30 p.m., though some teams may have a later start time.

Registration is free but donations will be collected on-site for the Special Olympics of Delaware County.
Special Olympics Pennsylvania-Delaware County (SOPA Delco) provides a year-round training and competitive sports program for Delaware County children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or closely related developmental disabilities, its website states.

Radnor Township said COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols will be followed. More information will be provided to registrants before the event. "In the event of unforeseen situations such as those imposed by inclement weather or health and safety issues, cancellations may occur," the township said.
The rain date is July 22.
