Yangming: The Question of Coming Back

Yangming, the popular Main Line eatery that was shut down earlier this month when a roach was found in a customer’s food, may reopen as soon as this week, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The restaurant, named to various lists of the best Chinese restaurants in the country, is undergoing renovations to get it up to 2015 code, which includes renovating plumbing and electricity and replacing all sorts of equipment.

But once the restaurant does open, the question becomes: Will the customers come back? Will loyal regulars at the restaurant keep coming despite the thought of roaches in the kitchen, or will Yangming’s return be short-lived?
