2 Assistant Summer Camp Directors Needed In Tredyffrin

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Parks & Recreation Department in Tredyffrin Township is looking for two people to take on Assistant Camp Director roles for its 2020 summer camp.

Applications for the jobs will be accepted through Dec. 31.

The jobs are great for those with teaching experience or certified child care professionals who are organized, creative, enthusiastic, patient, have high energy and enjoys working with kids 3-and-a-half to 12 years.

The Summer Camp runs from June 22, 2020 to July 31, 2020, limited additional time prior to camp start date will be required to begin planning camp activities.

Assistant Camp Directors are responsible for assisting with the supervision of the counselors and campers, assisting with the planning and implementation of daily activities, organizing and distributing supplies, as well as cleaning up and storage of supplies.

As part of the hiring process, the Assistant Camp Director would be required to provide valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Records.

These clearances are required for any position involving interaction with children.

• The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) application can be submitted online.
