Tredyffrin Police Seek Person Who Threw Lit Firework Into Home
Tredyffrin Township Police hope to identify whoever launched a lit firework into an occupied Devon apartment on July 4.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A July 4 fireworks stunt could end in criminal charges in Tredyffrin Township after someone threw a burning fountain-style firework into a Devon home.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department is seeking the person who threw the TNT brand "Mermaid" firework into the "L" building at Stonegate of Devon Apartment Homes around 11:30 p.m. on July 4.
The burning device landed in the occupied apartment, damaging carpets and walls, the report said. Police said the device was recovered for forensic analysis.

A police statement said the case is considered one of criminal mischief, risking a catastrophe.
