2nd Coronavirus Death Reported In Tredyffrin Township

Three more people in Chester County died from the coronavirus, one of which was in Tredyffrin Township, according to the county.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Another death related to the new coronavirus has been reported in Tredyffrin Township.

New data provided by Chester County Wednesday shows Tredyffrin Township had its second death related to the virus.

The first death in the township was reported April 6.

There are 33 coronavirus cases in Tredyffrin. Easttown Township is dealing with 30 cases. The two townships have the highest case counts in the county as of Wednesday.

Overall the county has 675 cases. Of those cases, 187 have locations pending. Additionally, the location for another reported death is pending.

Nearby, Willistown Township has 25 cases and two deaths; East Whiteland Township has 23 cases and one death; Charlestown Township has six cases; and Schuylkill Township has five cases.

Wednesday's updated figures show the county has received 3,416 negative coronavirus test results.
