9/11 Heroes Run Set For West Chester Friday
Race will benefit the Travis Manion Foundation

With the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks coming this Friday, a series of 9/11 Heroes Runs will take place throughout the region next weekend, including at Chester County Courthouse in West Chester. The West Chester race will feature both a distance 5K and a one-mile fun run.
The runs- also taking place in Philadelphia, Doylestown, Valley Forge, Pennsauken and Feasterville- are conducted to benefit the Travis Manion Foundation, named for the Naval Academy graduate who grew up in Doylestown and was killed while serving in Iraq in 2007.
Additionally, the Phillies will host a Travis Manion Foundation night on Saturday, Sept. 12.
