Air Quality Alert Issued In Chester County, Weekly Forecast Calls For Thunderstorms In Tredyffrin

The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert for eastern Pennsylvania, including areas in Philadelphia, Chester and Montgomery counties.

The air quality health advisory will remain in effect until midnight tonight.

An air quality advisory means that air quality within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

The forecast for the rest of the week calls for sunny weather until Wednesday morning, when scattered showers are expected to roll in and out of the area through Friday night.
